The AMDT Knowledge Hub serves as a gateway to cutting-edge knowledge products on agricultural market systems. Items such as reports, briefs, toolkits and articles are selected and shared by the AMDT Team and the wider network of partners and experts in the field. Only documents that adhere to the M4P model and that are not already available in the portal will be accepted. Please the guide below before filling and submitting your contribution
How to produce a description
The description should range between 70 – 150 words depending on the document content. It should give a quick insight into the nature of the larger document and helps a user to decide whether it is relevant information to download or not.
Points to focus when preparing a document description:
- For longer documents (more than 20 pages), one can usually get the essential information from reading the introduction and the executive summary of the document.
- Reading the headings of the document usually helps to highlight key areas and understand overall focus and objective.
Key elements when writing a resume:
- One sentence to briefly introduce the subject or key topic described in the document
- For more complex and larger reports, highlight the key areas of focus in the document
- Conclude with a brief phrase that describes the main purpose, aim or conclusion of the document.
Elements to Captcha before uploading documents in the Hub:
- Title of Document
- Author(s) (usually names of consultants)
- Publisher (Usually name of commissioned consulting company or name of source organization)
- Publication Year (Month and Year)
- Link(web link) to original Document (If curated from other sources)
- Topic (Value chain)
- Document type (choices from provided list)
- Description
- Actual softcopy of document (max size: 5mb)
- Selection of keywords/ tags (maximum of 4 per publication)
